The RZ 100E controller (shown with cover) is the centerpiece of the RZ automation system and implements a complete range of automation functions. Any combination of 2, RZ 100 Analog and Digital Expansion boards can be connected to the RZ 100's I/O expansion port. The unit can share information on a peer-to-peer basis with other controllers via the built-in RS-485 Local Area Network. It also has an auxiliary port which can be set up for RS-485 or RS-232 communication to peripheral devices such as modems and printers. Graphical Application Programming and User Interface are accomplished using perfectHOST software running under either Windows 95, 98, ME, 2000, NT or XP. |

RZ moZaic: Capable of being attached as a node in any LonWorks® system while simultaneously interfacing with other Richards-Zeta controllers. Graphical Application Programming and User Interface are accomplished using perfectHOST software. The RZ moZaic has the added ability to communicate with, monitor, and control multiple third party control systems and LonWorks systems simultaneously.

The most advanced building automation system and systems integration platform is formed when the Mediator is coupled with Richards-Zeta perfectHost for Windows Graphical Application Programming and Monitoring Software. The Mediator MPX fully communicates with the RZ control system. The Mediator MPX enables two-way communication over a TCP/IP network between the control system and all of the sensors, devices, and other networked systems within a facility. It collects data from multiple sources, including the RZ system that use disparate protocols and are otherwise unable to intercommunicate, converting the data into a single, widely used format such as XML, and provides information to the end user in a uniform presentation. It enables users to specify they type and quantity of information they want to receive, and omit anything they consider unessential. In addition, the Mediator MPX is able to receive through the RZ perfectHost user application and convert it into commands and data that conforms to the protocols required by the facility's sensors, devices, and systems. The Mediator can run multiple services and protocols simultaneously and still have the capability to respond immediately to events generated in the network environment.
